It’s Never Too Late To Change Your Career

There is a woman from Ireland called Mary Byrne who at age 50 auditioned for a talent show.  She had been working on the till  at her local supermarket.  She progressed to the semi final of the competition. I doubt that this is the last that we have seen of her. In fact her mentor Louis Walsh is positive about her future and is quoted saying: "Mary is on The X Factor tour and she will make an album." This is an individual who for a large part of her life knew that she had been given a gift but lacked confidence to use it. I remember watching her audition. When she came on stage you could clearly see that she was nervous. However, once she started singing, it was almost like the audience disappeared and she claimed her place on the stage. It brought tears to my eyes, the way that she sang with such passion and looked so at home on stage. I’ve shared this story with you as I want to inspire you take action. What steps do you need to take to move yourself forward?  What’s been holding you back? The moment that it all changed for Mary.
